Chris Friedel

Chris Friedel, Vice President/General Manager
Chris joined the TowHaul team in 2005 as International Sales Manager for Australasia, Africa, and Canada. He brought with him five years of sales experience in addition to two years in banking where he gained practical experience to complement his degree in finance. In his 10 years as International Sales Manager, Chris successfully opened several new markets, selling the first TowHaul Lowboys in South Africa, Morocco, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Namibia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In 2015, Chris was promoted to Vice President and traded his aisle seat on an airplane for a desk chair. He has thoroughly enjoyed learning the operations side of TowHaul and assisting in the development of the next generation of TowHaul talent. When not in the office, you can usually find Chris on the golf course or agonizing over the fate of his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers.

With over 8 years of experience in global sales, Carlos has excelled in providing exceptional service to our customers through listening to the unique needs of each mine site. Bilingual in Spanish and English, he spent 6 years developing TowHaul’s South American market through strategic dealer relationships before becoming the Global Sales Manager. Today, Carlos leads the sales department, working closely with customers and dealers to deliver tailored solutions and expand our market presence.
Kyle Griffith

Kyle Griffith, Engineering Manager
Kyle Griffith has over 17 years of engineering experience in the mining equipment industry with TowHaul. He has worked closely with customers and the sales team to develop optimal solutions for mine sites worldwide. His time has included extensive travel to assess site conditions and equipment needs which has honed his expertise in the field. Currently, he leads a diverse team of engineers dedicated to implementing continuous improvements and leveraging technology for future advancements.
Beau Taylor
Materials Manager

Beau Taylor, Materials Manager
Beau joined the TowHaul team in 2025, bringing along thirty years of experience in managing production and operations teams across the Aerospace and consumer goods sectors. Before his time at TowHaul, Beau dedicated four years to leading maintenance and manufacturing teams at Campbell’s and G.E. Aerospace, and spent an incredible 23 years overseeing production, inventory, and operations at PepsiCo. Now back in his forever home of Bozeman with his son, Beau continues to drive success while leading the materials teams at TowHaul.

Joe Polus, Production Manager
Joe started his career at TowHaul in 2010 as a Welder/Fabricator and progressed to Shop Foreman, before assuming the role of Production Manager in 2018. Today Joe is proud to lead a team of 30+ employees at TowHaul manufacturing the finest heavy-duty Goosenecks and Lowboys for the global surface mining industry. Joe has a degree in Technology Education with a Manufacturing Emphasis from Montana State University.

Over the years, I’ve held various roles, steadily advancing into management. My passion for this company and its mission has been a driving force throughout my career.
Haakon Zaeske

Haakon Zaeske, Service Manager
Haakon leads TowHaul’s service department, ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction. Before this role, he spent 12 years as a Service/Asset Delivery Engineer, managing over 100 haul truck conversions and lowboy projects globally. He started his career as a maintenance planner at a coal mining operation in Texas. Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Haakon earned a mechanical engineering degree from MSU. Outside of work, he enjoys Montana’s great outdoors with his wife and two children, including camping, hiking, skiing, and summer days on Flathead Lake.

Tyler joined TowHaul in 2024 and oversees the United States and Canada. Despite being new to the mining equipment industry, he is eager to learn and brings fresh perspectives. Tyler oversees operations across both countries, working closely with customers and dealers to deliver tailored solutions, strengthen relationships, and grow TowHaul’s market presence.

Kody, a former US Army paratrooper, relocated to Montana from Florida. With 12 years of experience in sales and business management, he is bilingual in Spanish and English, and collaborates closely with customers, service, and production teams to develop tailored solutions for South American mine sites.
